Are you looking for a way to help students in Citrus County? There is a great need for new shoes and socks for Citrus County youth. The Nature Coast Volunteer Center works with the schools to ensure all youth in need of socks and shoes are provided new shoes and socks. Please consider bringing in a pair (or a few pair) of new socks and shoes and place them in the container located in our Learning Center PRIOR to September 7th.
You will find a box labeled Two Good Soles Shoes and Socks Drive. This annual event is hosted by The Nature Coast Volunteer Center and the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Program. You can even join them for their National Day of Service and Remembrance of 9/11 event (see details below).
