ALL Supply List items are available at Beyond The Stitches Sewing machine with walking foot. Basic sewing supplies including acrylic rulers and seam ripper. Sewing Thread - to match all fabrics + 12 wgt Cotton Thread to hand stitch the bottom to the bag. Needle - MicroTex 90/14 and size 5 hand sewing needles. Template plastic - optional. rotary cutter & rotary mat. Parchment Paper. Frixion Marking Pen or Chalk. Wonder Clips. Scissors (both large and small). Measuring Tape. 30" Handbag zipper with 2 slides (opens on both ends). Fabric - Cotton Fabric A - Outside (Bag body & sashing) 3/8 yard Fabric B - Inside (Bag body lining, sashing & pockets) 5/8 yard Fabric C - Finishing - Handles, Bottom, Binding, Bows, Tabs 1/2 yard Note: If using directional fabric, you will need enough fabric to cut the following (2) rectangles 10 1/2" tall x 16" wide and (2) strips 10" tall x 1 1/4" wide Pattern: Aunties Two pattern - Mini Poppins Bags with Stays (AT629 - available at Beyond The Stitches) Pattern includes both Large (9" x 7" x 7") and Small (9" x 7" x 5") Mini Poppins Bags Each bag will use (2) Stays - included with the pattern. If you are making additional bags you can purchase the Stays without the pattern (available at Beyond The Stitches) Interfacing: Bag Body: Bosal's IN-R-FORM Plus 18" x 58" (will make both Large and Small Mini Poppins bags) Bottoms: Bosal's CRAF-TEX Plus Mini Poppins Bag Bottoms or Craf-tex Plus (20" wide) 1/2 yd either size See pattern for details |
