Technique Class - Deb Tucker Wing Clipper Flying Geese

Have you been wanting to learn how to properly use the Studio 180 Wing Clipper rulers?  This is a great opportunity to enroll in this technique class with instructor, Betty, where she will guide you through creating a perfect Flying Geese block using the Wing Clipper I ruler from Deb Tucker. You will be making 4 blocks with a finished size of 2in x 4in.     

If you enjoy the process, you may want to consider enrolling in the Twinkle Quilt Class where the project is creating a quilt from the flying geese blocks made with the technique learned in this class.

Skill Details:
Requirements: You receive a 15% discount on class supply items purchased at Beyond The Stitches. Studio 180 Ruler - Wing Clipper I. Fabric - Cut (1) 5-1/2" for the center of the flying geese. Cut (4) 3in x 3in for the wings. Basic sewing supplies: • Basic sewing machine in good working order. • Bobbins and thread. • New Needles – Top Stitch or Microtex for batik type fabric. • We will be usings a 1/4inch seam. Bring a foot that works for you to accomplish the 1/4inch seam. • Cutting mat and rotary cutter. • Scissors. • Pins and clips. • Seam ripper. • Washi tape or other tape to mark ruler at the size we are using. (Optional). • Other basic sewing supplies.
