Come join instructor, Gertie, in our Learning Center as she guides you through this great pattern by Cool Cat Creations entitled, Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag.
Please know that you will be creating the Snappy Slippers only in class as we will not have enough time to create the Travel Bag.

| Requirements: | 15% discount on all class supply list items with a paid class enrollment. Sewing machine in working condition with your accessories. Please make sure to bring your 1/4 inch foot, Straight Stitch/Zig Zag Foot, power cord, proper pre-wound bobbin. Basic sewing supplies that you like to use. Needles - new Top Stitch needle 80/12 and 90/14. Stiletto, thread to match. Pattern by Cool Cat Creations - Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag. Anti-Skid Gripper Fabric 10in x 13in. 505 or similar spray or 505 glue stick. Fusible Fleece 10in x 13in. Soft and Stable (according to size of slipper). You will be using the Soft and Stable for the tops and insoles only. It is recommend that you make templates from the pattern template. You will be using pattern pieces A, B2 and B1. Note: Sizes: Follow instructions for sizing per pattern. I upsized that number by 2 sizes - I measured 8 so I used a 10. (The foam will take up space in your slipper) Trace your pattern pieces on whatever you are using for template material; be sure to mark all the markings on your templates. You may find you want to adjust your pattern after the first pair so don’t cut your paper pattern. > Fabric - cut your 25 squares as you choose but bring some extra 5in squares. If you put your pieces too close together, you will need more squares. > Lining - add 1/4inch to the bottom edge of your lining fabric. Pre-cut all your fabrics/fleece/non-slip fabric PRIOR to class. |
