Join Susan in our Learning Center as she guides you through creating your Screen Play tote. You will be creating the Small size in class.

| Requirements: | 15% discount on Class Supply List Items with a paid class enrollment. Sewing machine with manual. Any additional tools & notions you like to use when sewing. Pattern: Screen Play. Fabric: 2 – 4 fat quarters. Vinyl Mesh: 18” x 36” mesh (makes 3 Small totes). Webbing/Strapping: ¾ yd of 1” decorative strapping or cotton belt webbing. Thread: Colors to match vinyl mesh and complement fabrics. Fabric will have visible topstitching – nice place to use fancy threads (variegated, sparkle, etc.). Corrugated plastic: Approx.: 3½” x 7” (bottom insert – will be provided for class). Optional closure: 9” of 1/8” elastic and one ¾” – 1” button. Needle: Microtex 90/14. Blue Painter’s tape or masking tape: approx. 1”. Frixion pen or other marking tool in a color that will be visible on your fabric. Large head sewing pins: 1¾” – 2” long (heart/flower head). Wonder Clips: small (red). Acrylic Ruler: 6” x 12”, 6” x 24” and a “small” ruler (ex” 2½” x 8”). 45 mm rotary cutter. Cutting mat. 10” Clover hot ruler (helpful, but not required). Note: Prior to Class please press your fabric however do not cut your fabric or vinyl mesh. |
