Our Newsletter will provide information on what has transpired during this past month as well as what is coming up.
Spring is here and there have been some great spring projects created. We have seen so many customers excited about completing projects that have been "unfinished" for years. This must be the year of "unfinished projects" finding completion.

We heard the following comments this past month and thought we would share them with you:
> Oh my sweet Jesus, if my meemaw (Grandma) could see me now
> My Home Ec (Home Economics) Teacher would be so proud of me
> I miss sewing with my best friend but now I have met some new friends
> I really like to come and learn the new projects but, I have to be honest, I really like the snacks
> I think I have found my Happy Place
> I moved here two years ago and never knew Beyond The Stitches was here. I now feel like I have found my new home away from home
Here are some pictures of the fun we have been having in our Learning Center. Come join us for some great projects, a lot of laughter, tips from some awesome instructors and there are times when you get a sneak peak at the daily shipments too.
We celebrated Easter with beautiful free-standing lace bunnies from Shirley; Thank You so much.
We also celebrated with delicious chocolates in an Easter Basket from Anne Marie; Thank you for the goodies.
Jackie and Jan's (aka: Mom) dogs were super happy to get their beautiful new collars created in the Pet Set class.
Another Little Poppins Bag was enjoyed by those that attended.
Oh the personalities that are created with the unique dolls (pattern by Deb Canham Studios) class with Mom (aka: Jan ) are so fun. This is a great class with a lot of laughter.
The Double Zip Gear Bag (pattern byAnnie) has been very popular. It is always nice to see what is created with fabrics purchased at our shop.
What a surprise it was when Cathy created a H2O 2-Go Sling for Dondi from one of the Beyond The Stitches tote bags in her H2O 2-Go Sling class. Thank you! Talk about creative minds. The other H2O 2-Go Slings turned out great as well. This great cross-body sling can accomodate a large water bottle as well as money, cards, etc. (pattern by Linds Handmade).
The reversible Custom Fit Bucket Hat has been a great project for men, women and children.
The Fleece wrap class with instructor Jan Squires was a fun time as everyone created their beautiful wraps. It was great having Linda B., Cathy, Gina, Ruth, Linda Z and Jeremy join the fun.
The Rope bowl/trivet class was a great time with instructor, Linda Zuelch, where everyone was able to experiment with rope fabric, varigated threads as well as learn about various types of rope. Thank you for sharing your time with us Linda B., Gertie, Shelley, Maddie and Marti.
It is amazing when we are able to watch the creativity take place in our customer's projects. Embellishing, threads, beads, painting, etc. can take a Get Out of Town Bag (pattern byAnnie) to a different level. Way to go Sherry; thank you for sharing your creation with us.

We have been busy in our Service Department taking great care of your sewing machine investment. If you haven't taken advantage of our 3-day Prior Program, now may be the time. Simply give us a call and we will get you in line to bring your machine for the annual cleaning or to fix the problem(s) you've been putting off. You never know what may be inside your machine.
