Seven years ago Dondi opened Beyond The Stitches to give her Mom (aka: Jan) a place to go sew and share her passion of sewing by teaching classes and meeting friends.  Great Team Members were hired, trained and scheduled to provide an environment that welcomes all who enter.  Several of us went to Service school for training however we quickly accepted that Gary was the most talented in our Service Department in which we are thankful.  Others joined our Education Team and a variety of classes have been offered and shared over the years.  We are exteremly THANKFUL for YOU and your continued support in traveling this journey with us.  Here are some pictures from our early days.

Sew & Tell is held the First Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  You are welcome to join us in our Learning Center and share a project that you have recently completed or simply come to be inspired and celebrate other projects.  Here are a few pictures from this past month. 

Thank you to those that participated in the Community Outreach sewing day where 58 placemats were created for Meals on Wheels receipents.  The Holiday theme on one side and other themes on the opposite side are certain to bring joy to many during the holiday season.  There is an effort to create 450 placemats so each Meals on Wheels person in Citrus County can have a new placemat this holiday season.

Our Learning Center instructors shared some great tips during classes this past month.  Thank you to those that were able to join us.  If you are interested in our classes please be sure to check the Class List or Class Calendar at our website, www.beyondthestitches.com.
